How do I schedule a 3D areola tattoo session?
1
We start with an email consultation. Contact us here. We’ll need to know what you’re hoping for and sending us photos is a great way for us to understand what kind of session you’ll need.

What does a consultation involve?
2
What if I already have areola tattoos but I’m not happy with them?
This can be done via email, zoom or in person, depending on what works best for you.
The consultation is the opportunity for the artist to get an understanding of what the client wants and to discuss options. The artist will evaluate the area, ask questions and gather information to prepare for the tattoo session.
When possible, clients will provide photos of their pre-surgery areolas to their artist during the consultation. Photos will be used solely by the artist to assist with color-matching, shape/size, and texture details.
What is the process?
3
Clients will schedule two sessions, roughly 6 weeks apart. This involves the initial tattoo and a check in / touch up session to ensure the tattoo is successful.
The first tattoo session will involve layout, color matching and sizing the areola design. The artist will be able to make recommendations for colors based on the client’s skin tone. Whenever possible, the artists will accommodate the client’s preferences. As soon as the client and artist feel confident in the plan, they will tattoo the 3D Areola(s). When the tattooing is complete, the artist will photograph the work, bandage the tattoo and guide the client in aftercare instructions.
The follow-up session will be an opportunity for the healed tattoo to be evaluated and touched up, if necessary. Healed photos will taken.
Any further touch-up sessions will be an additional charge at the discretion of your artist.

What if I have necrosis?
How long to the tattoos last?
When tattooing over scars, clients must be 2 years post surgery or a minimum of 1 year post surgery with a note of approval from a physician. If a client has keiloid scars, please inform your artist ahead of time - there are usually options for everyone.
Most areola tattoos can be re-worked. If you’d like your existing tattoos to appear more realistic, our artists are able to elevate your exsiting tattoos and make them looks 3D.
Necrosis is not uncommon and we can correct it with color matching. Our artists are able to reshape your areola and fill any gaps that lost pigment.
The tattoos can last from 6-10 years depending on skin tones and areola colors. Touchups are recommended if it’s been more than 8 years.
